Before departure
Shape your plans, prepare each step.
- Several online conversations to understand your goals and guide you through registration.
- Host-company outreach, matching discussions and preparation of the internship agreement.
- Preparation and checking of administrative documents, with a qualified professional involved when your application requires it.
- Japanese lessons organised before arrival in collaboration with Kyoto University of Foreign Studies.
On arrival
Find your bearings, with someone to help.
- A welcome at the agreed meeting point in Kyoto; airport pickup is not automatic.
- Help settling into your accommodation and getting to know the neighbourhood, shops and everyday rules, including waste sorting.
- Support with municipal registration and local health insurance when required by your status and circumstances.
- A preparation session before joining your host company.
During your stay
Follow-up at work. Support in daily life.
- A monthly check-in with the company, in person or online, to review your responsibilities and integration.
- Communication with your school as needed for academic follow-up.
- Japanese lessons in Kyoto and participation in events organised as part of the programme.
- Practical help with unexpected situations: accompanying you to a doctor or to report lost documents, coordinating housing issues and helping mediate disagreements when needed.
Until your return
Prepare the final step too.
- Practical help organising departure and, if needed, booking your return bus.
- Support adapted to your independence: you remain in control, with someone to ask when questions arise.

This journey describes our support. Your quotation specifies what your programme includes and what is charged separately: accommodation, transport, medical costs and, depending on your application, visa assistance, translations or specialist fees. Support does not mean these expenses are covered, 24/7 availability or a guaranteed visa.
